A graduate of a Belgian program in fashion design and patternmaking and textile design, these two interdisciplinary and complementary approaches offer Pauline a broad range of applications, diverse in both scope and purpose. After traveling extensively and experimenting with other mediums, she now pursues a more visual artistic approach. For her, material is a language that allows her to express the inexpressible and to tell the untellable. The mystery that underpins and shapes humanity is her creative driving force. She creates custom-made garments, conceiving the body as a clothed space to be inhabited. She creates textile works and installations (Brussels, Villevêque, Orvault, Carquefou…). She teaches weaving, patternmaking, and textile design in various professional settings and works as an artist in healthcare facilities.
Creating the costumes for Souviens-toi d’avant l’aube marked her immersion into the world of theater, a journey she continues with the creation of the costumes for L’Enveillée.
