Léon Septavaux

Sound designer

Léon is a composer, sound designer, and passionate field recordist. He trained at the ATLA contemporary music school (Paris) and earned a degree in computer-assisted music (MAO) and electronic music. He completed an internship in music for film and television, then studied electroacoustic and acousmatic composition at the Erik Satie Conservatory. In 2013, he launched Materjal, his solo project that brings together his live performances, original tracks, and sound design work.

Through the Lettres Vives project, he expanded into sound design for theater.
