Roxane Palazzotto

Actress

After earning her high school diploma with a theater track, Roxane joined Class 12 at the École nationale d’acteurs de Cannes (ERACM). She worked with Valérie Dréville, Gildas Milin, Bruno Galas, and Jean-Damien Barbin, among others.

She then spent a year working with Jean-Pierre Vincent on a play by Jean-Luc Lagarce. At the same time, she helped her fellow students launch their own theater companies, appearing as an actress in the debut productions of Kevin Keiss, Jean-Pierre Baro, Aurélie Leroux, and Julien Gaillard.

In 2012, she met Maëlle Poésy, with whom she has collaborated on numerous productions, including Candide —which toured for several years— "Ceux qui errent ne se trompent pas" and Sous d’autres cieux, both created for the Festival d’Avignon IN.

She also works closely with Adèle Ogier and her company, L’atelier du vent. She performs in Un nuage sur la terre and contributes to the creative process for other productions.

She leads numerous workshops in middle and high schools and spent a year teaching at a democratic school.

In 2015, as part of an event organized by the prior of the Basilica of Vézelay, she directed D’amour emporté, a theatrical celebration based on the Gospel of Saint John and texts by Georges Bernanos, Christian Bobin, and Charles Péguy.

From 2018 to 2022, Roxane took the spiritual anthropology course taught by Annick de Souzenelle. Her exploration of various spiritual practices from traditions around the world (Sufi dance, Hebrew chant, tai chi) has enriched her educational and artistic work.

In 2022, she directed Tonin Palazzotto in Marc-Emmanuel Soriano’s Un qui veut traverser, and together they founded their theater company, D’Amour Emporté.
